Per Liz Langton, Membership Coordinator at the Fitness Center, there is a discounted rate for members of the Elgin Blue Wave Swim Team.
Here's how to get it: Go into the fitness center on the second floor, and tell them that you're on the team. You don't need proof, they have a list of team members. This gets you 15% off the required annual resident rate and the joining fee is waived.

Saturday brought more strong Blue Wave swims in the 400 and 100 IMs, 200 Free, 50 Breaststroke, 50 Free, 200 Breaststroke, 100 Fly, and 100 back. The team finished the day still claiming third behind the Chicago Smelts with 77 swimmers, and the Swedish Fish with their squad of 91. Naperville, 51 strong, was close behind in fourth.
